I remember my first car I drove was my Mothers 65 Rambler Ambassador with the push-button automatic transmission.
My favorite thing was standing in line at the local Dairy Queen on a warm summers eve with my Dad. :p

Admin reply: Thanks for sharing your memories with us Andrew.

hello, was 2+2=? popular in the 60's the bob seger system

Admin reply: This was Seger's first release on Capitol Records, where Seger relocated after the Cameo-Parkway label shut down. It was issued in January, 1968, and got some traction as part of the anti-war movement, but Seger was unknown in most major cities outside of Michigan, so places like San Francisco which were embracing protest songs didn't get to hear it. It wasn't until the mid-'70s that Seger made a national impact.

So many good memories! And a few not so good, but all in all, to me, the 60s are golden. I live in Jacksonville, FL but grew up in the small town of Christiansburg, VA. It was kind of like Mayberry in the Andy Griffith Show. I can relate to almost everything here the the 60s Official Site.

Admin reply: Memories are what we do and I hope we brought some of them back Bill.

You continue to have a great site of musical history. Thanks for your work! (one small note: could we have the previous format back for the segment "This Week's Billboard Charts Top 10"?)

Admin reply: Thanks for being a fan but the previous format will not return.
