Admirable. Your pictures are individual actors and singers that we interacted with during the early 60's and late 60's.

I was the lead singer/ songwriter for MI. group The Quests. Some of our songs were Shadows in the Night, Tempted, Scream Loud, What Can I Do.

I still love to listen to Garage rock and very happy that others get a chance to hear our songs. I'd love to hear from you. Keep rockin. :!cool:

Admin reply: Bob you keep rockin' yourself and continue to drop by.

This site makes me smile, and outright laugh. Still have my best friend of 50 years, we share our memories all the time. Growing up in a small town in So. Cal. times were simple, and good. Recently reconnected with another old friend (first love) and we both miss those innocent days, where everything was a big deal. Keep it going!!

Admin reply: Fond memories are what we produce here Annie. So happy to hear from and sharing with us. Please keep coming back as new content is added weekly.

I think people were much happier in the 60's--I certainly was. Still listen to all my favorite bands. When I got my driver's license when I was 16, my parents would only let me drive their car to Sunday School/church. It was a 1955 Chevy bel-air-the turquoise/white one. The stick shift on the steering wheel would freeze in a gear when I tried to shift. Daddy had showed me how to fix it under the hood, in my Sunday dress. That was very exasperating!

Admin reply: Thank you for checking out The 60s Official Site and sharing your memory of the decade.

I loved growing up in the Sixties, Born in 1950 I was at a great age to enjoy the decade. Some of my fondest memories are from that time. So many good friends and family were on hand to give that extra special feeling that was there at the time. I enjoyed your site and plan to come back and visit often. Thanks again for helping us remember.

Admin reply: Thank you Ed for stopping by and do come back. New content is added weekly.

I signed up several years ago, and have not been on the site lately. The sixties were an extremely formative time in my life. I don't know that every generation has that specific period which changed their lives and created a backdrop to which they could return, quite the way that the sixties did for us. Thank You! :!cool:

Admin reply: Thank you for your comments Robert and stopping by once again.
