I love this site, I am looking for a toy, that I had in the late 60s to early 70s. I do not remember the name, I think is was calld "Astro veiwing scope" but I will try to describe: It was battery operated, table top size, control * * *, 2 motors, interchangable disks, when turned on, a light would reflect off of the disks, set at opposing sides of the inner works, this light would create a "light show, of changing colors, and designs" the face was an semi-transparent style. the * * * would change the speed of each spinning disk. no sound. please help!!!

This is my first visit to your site; I was doing research on the sixties and found this. I've bookmarked the site because I want to come back when I have more time and browse some more. I can so related to your "How did we survive growing up in the 60s? That was funny... all those things that we are warned NOT to do now, we did then and are alive to write about it! Although I did think water from the water hose tasted funny; now I know why... :D

Great site. You have a very extensive listing of the best songs on the net. Please add "Eve of Destruction" to your Vietnam category as it spoke of the times we were going through as a nation then AND are still as timely in 2011 sad to say.

Admin reply: A great song but in respect to fellow vets I have avoided adding protest songs to the Vietnam memories. Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

Have so enjoyed your site & especially since we are planning our first ever class reunion(1966)...45 years...wow..just wanted to add to the notes on the perfume used in the 60's..guess we were..well no guessing to it...we were poor...so our perfume was "Evening in Paris", and I do believe it can still be found.

Admin reply: Thank you Judy for commenting. I remember Evening in Paris.
