Excellent write up on JC I was a support singer both solo and with a group called the Trojans. We were with the curuit for a good three months and we all had a whale of a time, even had the pleasure of singing Elvis.
Times never to be repeated.

Cool site! Last week I had to explain to my granddaughter what a beat nik was. When I told her it was like a hippy, I had to explain what a hippy was. Sometimes it is preferable to just reminisce alone! ;)

Admin reply: At least you got to reminisce. Thanks for dropping by.

I loved looking at the website. I am only 36 years old but I am serious throwback to the 60's, I am buying a 1968 bus that will be transported to me in 2 weeks, I love 60's very early 70's music, I wear bell bottom pants, hippie skirts, etc.. It is and always will be my favorite era. I honestly wish things could be like they were back then. I was honestly born in the wrong era. I understand there were lots of struggles back then as well but the difference about the era was that they wanted things to change for the better and it was about caring about life. This day and age it's rare to see that and I also find this era to be a very selfish time. My heart hurts to see what our world is ending up to be. Stay groovy peeps!!

Please bring Echoes back to Vegas. I'm holding a college reunion in March and would love to take all 50 of my buddies to the show. I've seen it three times and love it.

Admin reply: I have no say about that. With a slow economy the show was forced to move on. Echoes of the 60s is in the process of hiring an agent to take its show on the road across the U.S.

I only looked at the 100 songs list. Glad you included the Who's "Can't Explain". What a 'head 45' if there ever was. Would have to drop many of the slow vocals, tho'. Too bad you Midwest People missed a lot of regional East Coast hits like "Air Travel"-Ray and Bob, or "Candy"-The Astors. The latter was played by WABC.

Admin reply: Thank you for your comments Gus. My list was just my picks. Certainly other folks from the Midwest may have selected a different 100. I based my list on what the national charts were showing as well so many who visit this site would have no problem relating to the songs. My list could have easily been 200. I could have included regional songs from the Midwest but I chose not to.
