I really enjoy going back in time once in awhile on your website; wonderful memories. Now with 6 grandchildren, we play outside. Not too much computer or T.V. :D

Admin reply: Thanks for stopping by Rita and sharing with us.

What about Brach's Maple Creams? I haven't seen them in years.
And the candy dots on paper?
Chocolate and/or the "minty" flavored cigs?
There was also a cinnamon flavored gum, in sticks, with bright red paper--brain drain on its name...but it was good too!!! I did see you included the clove gum.
Thank you for a memory trip for our sweet tooth!!! :p

Admin reply: What a great memory Sherry. Sweets for a sweet tooth indeed. Thanks for sharing with us.

My best girlfriend and I would ride the El after school every day to dance on American Bandstand. No, I was not a "regular", but was a skinny school kid just wanting to dance and have fun. Oh yeah, this was 1961, before the shows were taped. Sally Star and Popeye Theater came on TV right after American Bandstand and we'd get to see her getting ready for her show. Back then, girls could fast dance with girls, as I was too shy to dance with boys. I remember doing the Stroll, South Street, Twist. I remember seeing Chubby Checker as one of the guests. Those were some of my best memories.

Admin reply: Thank you so much Debbie for sharing your memory of a great time.

Do any of you ladies out there remember the "Fun Flower Factory" I loved it! You had these metal plates with different flower forms
that you would squeeze brightly colored liquid rubber into then plugged it in and it heated up and hardened to a soft rubbery flower which you could stick on a mirror or window! Too dangerous to play with now but, it sure was fun back then. :D
