Summer's Over

As the summer draws to a close and kids are heading back to school, I recall back when I was in high school  and how much I dread going back to start another year of the study routine.   I really didn't look forward to it in the least.  I was having too much fun with my friends but then again I will see friends I hadn't seen all summer so that was a plus.  Although in a few weeks after the beginning of school,  the leaves will begin showing their autumn glory which represents a beautiful transition from summer. But still I was sadden to see my favorite time of the year disappear and the unwelcome arrival of colder weather.  In my opinion, Ohio has the most beautiful folage anywhere but again it is a reminder that not long after will be the wintry blast of winter.

As my mind wandered back, I thought it would be fun to revisit the songs that were on the charts as school kicked in and we tread are way to school.  So lets take a look at the hits on the radio from the Septembers of 1960-1969.
